What to do to escape southern California traffic and and the neon lights of Las Vegas? Stumble upon an unheralded State Park. We spent a peaceful night and early morning exploring the area. Perhaps it was just that these were our first red rocks of the trip, but whatever the case, its was well worth the this unplanned detour off Interstate 15.
